A Note About Our Calendar
The AAEC calendar is organized in 6-week sessions, which conclude with a family event called The Exhibition of Learning. Each 6-week session focuses on one topic area (science, government, architecture to name a few), and is followed by a one week break. Occassionally, a session is 3 weeks long. Our summer break is shorter than most schools as the research shows that this reduces the brain drain and consequently, students are better prepared at the start of each school year.
The school admits children of any race, colour, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to children at the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, national, and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.
